Kya khabar thee ke rug-e-jaaN maiN utar ja'ay ga
Voh havaaoN key tarha khana bajaN phertA hay
Aik jhonka hay joe A'ay ga guzar ja'ay ga
Voh jub A'ay ga toe pher us key rafaqat kay le'ay
Mausam-e-gul miray Angan maiN Tehar ja'ay ga
Akher voh bhee kaheeN rait pe bethee ho gee
Tera ye pyar bhee darya hay, utar ja'ay ga
Mujh ko tehzeeb kay barzukh ka banaya varis
